RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., May 22, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Pure-Ecommerce.com is excited to announce they were chosen as one of the
winners of the Startup Nation Top 2012 Women Owned
Business Contest. Thousands of woman-owned businesses entered
this popular online voting contest and only 200 were chosen.
Pure-Ecommerce.com was ranked in 55th place out of the 200
chosen winners. This makes the second time winning this prestigious
contest offered by Startup nation.
Jennifer Varner, CEO and founder of Pure-Ecommerce.com which is located
in Cary, N.C. had this to say about her win, "To be chosen out of
thousands of women-owned business owners makes this win very meaningful
to me. The last two years I have focused on growing my company despite
my breast cancer fight. Hopefully it shows other women fighting this
disease that life does go on after cancer and great things can be in
store for you! It also validates that all my hard work and goals for my
company is paying off."
Pure-Ecommerce specializes in helping first-time entrepreneurs and work
from home moms create successful online ecommerce businesses using their
"Business-in-a-Box" solutions. Jennifer at Pure-Ecommerce.com has
learned from experience. Prior to running Pure-Ecommerce.com, she was
the CEO and founder of one of the largest and well-known online
maternity clothing companies. Jennifer Varner sold the company six years
ago to focus on helping others to achieve their dream of
Entrepreneurship.
The maternity company grew into a multimillion dollar business in a two
year time frame. But due to not understanding how to truly run an
ecommerce business, Jennifer almost lost the company. "I am the first to
admit I made every mistake under the sun with that company. What so many
people don't realize is that the barrier to entry is easy when going
online but understanding how to actually run an ecommerce business is
not. I am thankful for the mistakes I made. Out of those mistakes came
my new company Pure-Ecommerce.com. It's an honor to get to help first
time entrepreneurs and stay at home moms achieve the dream of owning
their own business. Having won the Startup Nation Top 200 Women Owned
Business Contest only validates what we do and drives us harder to grow
our company and offer more outstanding learning opportunities for our
clients." Some of their turnkey website businesses include
